Indie Feature Filmmaking

This three-hour class is an essential guide to becoming an indie filmmaker.  It will give an overview of a typical "guerilla" production, from coming up with an idea to organizing the production, what equipment you need to shoot and edit your movie, casting actors, getting a crew, avoiding pitfalls and ultimately distributing your feature to your audience.  This overview will prepare you for the hardest job you'll ever love.

This class is taught by Kevin Lindenmuth, who has nearly 30 years of experience in the film/television industry both in New York City and Detroit.  He has produced over a dozen independent features which have been distributed worldwide and 7 documentaries, the majority of which have been broadcast on PBS nationally.  He is the author of four books on independent filmmaking.
